TikTok appears to be Woman Who Does as Her Oppa Wishes (2024)taking a cue from Snapchat, now testing streaks in direct messages for some users.
The platform confirmed it is playing around with streaks to select users in limited markets, according to TechCrunch.

Streaks will then pop up next to that person's name in your message tab. TikTok is also sending notifications to users to keep up their streaks, which will end if a response isn't exchanged within 24 hours.
