Both Tencent and TikTok owner ByteDance announced on Wednesday that they would each donate RMB 100 million to flood-hit areas, while e-commerce titan Alibaba and PDD pledged RMB 30 million to support affected individuals. US coffee chain Starbucks also announced an RMB 1 million donation to the capital Beijing and neighboring cities on Tuesday night.
