Tencent’s Finnish gaming subsidiary Supercell saw sales of nearly $3 billion from its six games024 Archives marking a huge 77% year-on-year increase, according to the company’s latest 2024 revenue data. Supercell’s flagship titles include mobile games such as real-time strategy card game Clash Royale, base-building strategy game Clash of Clans, and third-person hero shooter game Brawl Stars. Supercell stated that its newly released game Squad Busters surpassed $100 million in revenue within seven months of launch in 2024, while Brawl Stars maintains a steady monthly revenue of around $36 million. “All of our active games experienced growth last year,” said CEO Ilkka Paananen, “which is the first time in the past 10 years.” [IThome, in Chinese]
