TikTok introduced a new tool this week to help creators label AI-generated content021 Archives as announced on the popular short video platform’s blog. TikTok now requires creators to inform viewers when images, audio, or video has been created or edited using AI, aiming to prevent the potential spread of misleading content. The AI label will be displayed in the bottom left corner of the video, below the username. Failure to provide this information about AI-created content may result in the removal of such content. Additionally, the company plans to rename its AI effects and filters to include “AI” in their names and is encouraging creators to do the same. [TikTok]
